The Auburn University School of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences is recognized as a premier warm-water fisheries program. Through our research, teaching and extension programs we work to advance the boundaries of aquatic sciences, train the next generation of leaders in the field, and help address the needs of citizens of the state, nation, and world.

FISHERIES HOSTS STUDENTS FROM CHICAGO’S NEW SCHMID ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The School of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences was one of the stops for 24 students of Chicago’s Schmid Elementary School, who visited Auburn University Sept. 10-12. Through a variety of fun activities, we shared with them how our work improves lives throughout the world.
